Average Rating:| Lily la fleur Course: MATH463 Grade Expected: A January 8, 2009, 3:04 am | Professor Yarmola is an easy going professor; she cares about her students(it's ok if you can't turn in your homework on time),and she makes time to help students via office hours or emails. However, she goes very fast in her lectures, and it's almost impossible to follow; you will pretty much learn on your own or will have to go to her office hours. Her exams are tough, but there is a nice curve. |
| a778999 Course: MATH463 Grade Expected: A+ December 20, 2008, 11:18 am | Worst teacher ever!!!! This woman holds us responsible for so much yet cannot convey the knowledge to us. Her lectures are useless--I find reading the book better than going over my notes. In the last two weeks of class, she "taught" us three chapters of the material and even though the final is worth 40% percent of our grade, refuses to put the stuff we previously on it. So basically the last two weeks of material is worth 40%. To prove how bad of a teacher she was, the last midterm's average grade was a 50 (this class was mainly math and engineering majors). DO NOT TAKE HER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! |
