Reviews for Daryle Williams
Average Rating:| KillaKev_ Course: HIST251 Grade Expected: B April 30, 2012, 12:40 pm | No doubt that Professor Williams knows what he is talking about. He is definitely knowledgeable. However, as a Hispanic student I expected more form this class in terms of Latin America. Williams devotes 80% of the lecture to his expert area of Brazil. His lectures aren't that entertaining or informative because he is literally reading from his own notes which we don't have access too. His PowerPoint slides are posted online but they aren't as informative as the ones he is probably reading from. The exams aren't even based on his lectures, they are based on books. So be prepared to read. Only benefit is that the midterm (which is only one) questions are given days before so you can prepare, as well with the Final. You must be specific because Williams is a strict grader. Overall, could be a better class. |

| student16 Course: SOCY105 Grade Expected: A+ May 6, 2010, 1:36 pm | Professor Williams is really nice and passionate about what he is teaching. The material in this class was interesting and neccesary to know and I think he presented it in a very effective way. He does have good sense of humor and he is really good at engaging the class into debates and opinions about his topics. Grading was fair, I think it is easy to get an A since he tells you specifcally waht to do and he also presents all of the material he tests on on his slides. |
| bihbih Course: SOCY105 Grade Expected: A January 28, 2009, 3:23 pm | Professor Williams(the socy one) was pretty good. I found the course material more interesting than anything else. There is attendance taken almost every class. Professor Williams is a young teacher and likes to joke around with the class, sometimes in an annoying way. Not a heavy workload, put some work in and you'll get an A. |
| ash_hole_88 Course: HIST251 Grade Expected: c+ November 28, 2007, 5:51 am | Teaches poorly. Boring lectures, no emphasis on whats important, throws information out all over place does not review well. The only saving grace is that the subject itself is pretty interesting. |
