Reviews for Mary Kay Vaughan
Average Rating:| jamgord Course: HIST250 Grade Expected: A November 25, 2009, 6:59 am | Professor Vaughan is very interested in Latin American History. She's kind of technologically challenged which was entertaining at times. She's really sweet because after numerous complaints of having WAY too many reading assignments, she and the TA decided to cut down on the amount of reading we had to do. You have a total of 4 writing assignments over the semester, all of which are 5+ pages. My TA Reid Gustafson was a very easy grader, though. So as long as you incorporate the major idea and have some solid examples from the readings, you should be able to get As on the essays. The course was harder than I expected it to be because of all the readings, but it is very possible to get an A if your TA is an easy grader. There aren't any weekly quizzes or anything, so just make sure you put effort into the essays. And the best part of the course is the section on witchcraft! |
