A very nice teacher who tries her hardest to get everyone excited about the material. She is from Spain, so she knows what she's doing. You also obtain a substantial source of cultural knowledge from this class, in addition to a linguistic ability. SHe is very knowledgable, and she's a cool, approachable person in class. The only drawback to the class is that there is a lot of work. A lot. And it's in Spanish. Es muy dificil.

Cristina is a really fun teacher, which is so important with a language class. She's young, hip, gorgeous, and from Spain, so you get to learn "vosotros" and hear her use a "th" sound for everything. The Spanish department has pretty rigid guidelines for assignments, grading, attendance, etc, so you know up front exactly what is expected of you. You get a lot of leniency with absences/lateness (you have to be more than 10 mins late to count as absent, which was nice for a morning class!). She's also a very easy grader- you pretty much have to try to get a bad grade. She's even pretty lenient on tests. On the paragraph assignments, you can have red marks all over your paper and still get a 95. The online homework is ridiculous at first, but you will get the hang of Quia and it will get easier- I started out so frusterated and now I consistently get As. If you can get Cristina, take that section, she's awesome!
