Average Rating:| psychologynerd Course: PSYC436 Grade Expected: A December 24, 2011, 4:12 pm | -seems intimidating at first, but actually VERY nice (she's a practicing therapist so it makes sense) -does NOT have slides or anything; she just lectures for the full hour and 15 minutes -pretty hard grader for the papers -quizzes are tricky at times, so PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS AND TAKE THOROUGH NOTES -read the book, but not ENTIRELY necessary |
| kbe12478 Course: PSYC436 Grade Expected: November 10, 2009, 7:47 am | An excellent course. Dr. Leiman was able to adequately convey the nature of the day-to-day practices and challenges of the life of a clinical psychologist. The workload is very easy; two research papers, one of which involves you watching a movie and theoretically treating the character in a clinical therapy setting. No exams, just quizzes, which, if you go to class, you should ace, because they are designed based off of class discussion. |
