Average Rating:| kbe12478 Course: PSYC450 Grade Expected: November 10, 2009, 7:41 am | Ryan was an excellent teacher of all things related to psychological research. He tried to engage the class through discussion, and he expects you to actually read the handouts he assigns for homework, as he integrates them into class discussion. While the class material can be boring, as a lot of it is a rehashing of PSYC100/200 methodologies and research procedures, I felt that it offered a good refresher course into how to properly conduct scientific research, and went into a much greater amount of depth than most research courses. The grading system was fairly easy; two easy multiple choice exams, and one time-consuming but simple and easy research project, which gets divided up over the course of the semester. You actually get to conduct your own research, on whatever you want (provided its related to I/O), which is cool. |
