| Anonymous Course: HONR249W Grade Expected: A December 22, 2010, 8:49 am | Wow, what is there to say about Professor Bushrui? He is certainly one of the foremost authority on religion and peace. But this class was truly an experience because of who he is. He emits a natural aura of love and understanding to all his students. Everyone in class agrees that he is a paragon of professors. After the first few classes, you'll realize that grades no longer matter because the experience that you get will last you a life time. It's similar to having the Dalai Lama or Desmond Tutu teach your class about religion. I cant imagine a person more qualify or worthy of such a comparison. If you get in this class, consider it an honor. |
| infection530 Course: HONR249W Grade Expected: A July 12, 2010, 8:39 am | Professor Bushrui is certainly one of a kind. There are not words to express the mans charisma and naturally loving nature. He is truly a one of a kind professor. He loves all of his students, not just teaching. If you look him up online, he makes less money than any other professor. I don't think this is an accident or a lack of tenure. I strongly believe that Professor Bushrui is the kind of man that would ask for a lower salary so that he can help prevent tuition hikes for students. Your problem is his problem. He makes sure that you know that, and always asks for students to tell him how the feel. His goal is to teach you life lessons and lessons in spirituality, and about other faiths. He's completely successful, not only in teaching you knowledge, but instilling a love for every other human. There's never a dull or sad face in his class. Every student is always smiling. If you love religion, take this class. If you hate religion, take this class. If you are apathetic or ignorant about religion and are just searching through honors seminars looking for the ones with great reviews and easy As, take this class. Whether you're Buddhist, Christian, Atheist, Agnostic, Jewish, Hindu, or any other great religion, take this class. I can't recommend any class more than I do this one. It's the only one I've written a review for thus far. |

He has a lot of wisdom to share and the charisma to share it. If you're lucky, you will be allowed the honor of taking his class. |

He takes the initiative to meet every student personally, and shares many personal anecdotes. He is one of the most spiritual people I have ever met, and you will feel enlightened after sitting through this class. I recommend it to anyone interested in the history of religion, but even moreso for anyone with or striving for a deep spirituality. |
