Reviews for Tamara Tashiko Walden
Average Rating:| kbe12478 Course: PSYC353 Grade Expected: March 18, 2009, 5:30 pm | Only 4 multiple choice exams. Not a hard class, but at the same time, a lot of material was covered. Walden did not do a great job of conveying the importance of each topic. She listed a couple of symptoms for each disorder; the teaching left a lot to be desired. Walden was friendly enough, and approachable. |
| terpstudent123 Course: PSYC353 Grade Expected: January 25, 2009, 8:42 am | This professor was horrible! Not only were her lectures boring and useless, she and her TA really didn't seem to care if you actually understood the material. Comepletely useless. I would never recommend this professor. |
| TerpStudent5 Course: PSYC353 Grade Expected: B December 23, 2008, 9:54 pm | Avoid her at all costs, seperates test material into lecture and textbook. Lecture portion is arbitrary and difficult to study for. Seldomly gives out lecture material for students, makes note taking a race to see who can copy down the slides the quickest, making lectures stressful and unejoyable. Takes her more than a week to grade SCANTRON exams. She will randomly omit chapters and moves tests on a whim, making the announcement the class right before an exam. There are so many other good abnormal psych profs out there, Walden is really one to avoid. |
| Anonymous Course: PSYC353 Grade Expected: A December 15, 2008, 6:29 pm | The lectures are deadly- if half the tests weren't based off of them, NO ONE would go. But the readings are cool, very interesting. |
