Reviews for Jennifer Anne Varriale
Average Rating:| rawr123 Course: CCJS105 Grade Expected: B February 17, 2011, 12:07 pm | Lectures weren't that bad but my TA was a straight up b*tch. She is obviously a miserable person who enjoys making other people miserable. If you get into this class and your TA is Sara (she has a nose ring) drop it IMMEDIATELY. |
| Anonymous Course: CCJS105 Grade Expected: A+ April 12, 2010, 8:32 am | Easy class, and easy to understand. Lectures were straightforward and not difficult at all. She tries to get the class involved with games or activities during lecture. Guaranteed A if you show up to class and pay attention. |
| Anonymous Course: CCJS105 Grade Expected: A January 22, 2010, 4:35 pm | I heard this class was easy and it was. The only problem was the material was extremely boring. The exams are directly from your notes, so if you pay attention in class you should be fine. The only time I used the book was to write my final paper, which I had all semester to write. |

She was very clear about all of the major assignments and had numerous extra credit opportunities. If you go to class then the test isn't hard, it's all directly from the notes and the reading (which wasn't that much to keep up with). I'd gladly take another class from her if one was offered. |

| Anonymous Course: CCJS105 Grade Expected: AB May 10, 2009, 7:55 am | I don’t know what it was, but I really didn’t like this course. The teacher is fine, the material isn’t that dense, and there are only 2 exams and one paper. I didn’t hate the class, but it wasn’t my favorite. I think what I dislike the most was the fact that you have to go to class in order to get that notes. Oh, and the 10 page paper! |
| Anonymous Course: CCJS105 Grade Expected: A January 1, 2009, 2:10 pm | The professor has good intentions. Notes are given on powerpoint slides and she usually goes pretty fast. I found it easier to take notes on a laptop. At times, her explanations were confusing. There are only 2 midterms (only the one with the higher grade is counted), one final research paper (10-12 pgs - which you have the whole semester to do) and one final cumulative exam. She tries to make it so everyone will get a good grade.. She let us have a "cheat-cheat" for the final exam and even let us do an extra credit paper. If you pay attention in discussion, and make sure to do well on your paper and on the final, you should have no trouble getting a good grade in this class. The course material was pretty boring overall. |
| Anonymous Course: CCJS105 Grade Expected: A December 24, 2008, 10:16 am | teacher was fair. the exams are made harder than the material seems to be but she will scale them to make them very fair. She also gave an extra credit assignment that helped my final grade a lot. |
| Anonymous Course: CCJS105 Grade Expected: B November 19, 2008, 3:35 pm | Very monotonous in lecture, reads straight from notes and fails to explain them in depth. Does not make subject fun to learn. |
