Although she's a little intimidating at first, the most important thing you need to do in her class is put in effort. As long as you work hard you will do well. This class consisted of 5 parts: 1. Homework 2. Description 3. Midterm 4. Conte Fantastique 5. Dissertation Each part is worth 20% of your grade. Homework assignments tend to be long, so be prepared to put a good 3-5 hours of work into some assignments. The description is an in-class essay assignment. The midterm is about concepts you learn in class. The Conte Fantastique is a short horror story. You will read examples in class and try to emulate them by writing your own one. Item 5 is a dissertation, or a 2-3 page argumentative essay which serves as your final exam. |
