Average Rating:| Anonymous Course: CMLT270 Grade Expected: A November 17, 2011, 3:25 pm | Don't take this class. Moriel is painful to listen to -- and you can see it in every student's eyes! Syllabus changes constantly but it doesn't matter because she doesn't even follow it at all anyways. If you get her for 270 then switch. You will learn nothing in this class except that she toured the world with a guitar when she was young and that she wasn't able to be a successful writer. |
| RLJ2009 Course: CMLT270 Grade Expected: A January 18, 2011, 11:53 am | Absolutely nonsensical and absurd! The first two classes were engaging then it becomes a train wreck. It is not hard. You do not even have to read the damn books. All she does is go on a rant for an hour and maybe gives you the easiest quiz in existence(Ex, what is the author's name?).She constantly changes the syllabus and I never once got a grade back. I think I only got an A because I answered like 5 questions she asked this semester and put effort into the online work. Really EASY A, but she is so boring and ridiculous. For example, when talking about an Albino president in Africa she said " I wonder if there a person born from white people who is all black and has to stay in the sun all the time like a reverse albino?" I am not kidding, she actually said that. I paid for this course. |
| terpof2011 Course: CMLT270 Grade Expected: ?? December 1, 2009, 4:35 pm | Overall a terrible professor. Moriel is very passionate about her studies and the course reading materials she assigns, but she really made the class content unbearable and pointless. She altered the syllabus material constantly, confused herself and all of the students, and made random comments in class that made no sense to anyone. She was completely incapable of conveying any useful information in a way that caused any of it to be worth absorbing. I took the class as my last CORE requirement because it sounded very interesting. All-in-all, I found this particular class and Moriel's teaching style to be extremely annoying. The class was a pain in the butt. |
| cprima Course: ENGL391 Grade Expected: B- December 16, 2008, 11:50 am | Tough grader, but she gives you plenty of opportunities to bring your grades up. Spends a lot of time on grammar. If you want to work on your resume, then you will need to meet with her outside of class. She helped me fix my resume up and it looked amazing afterward. |
