Although the professor is very enthusiastic and caring about his students, the amount of information is more than overwhelming. Do not take this class unless you are really interested in the topic of paleontology. A LOT of memorization of crazy names of groups and more and more. I would not be able to recommend this course for anyone unless they seek a major on this subject. |
| Anonymous Course: GEOL100 Grade Expected: A April 12, 2008, 8:35 pm | Professor Merck is very enthusiastic about his work. He is a great professor and his explanations are nearly flawless. If you go to class, he makes the dull material slightly more interesting. Your grade is based on the best 2 of 3 exams and the final. The curves are big and there is a field trip for extra credit. Review sessions help a lot for exams. Good course if you need to get the CORE out of the way. |
