| tallboyt Course: ENGL101 Grade Expected: A- November 16, 2008, 9:29 pm | Very nice teacher. Sometimes complicates things. Engl101 papers are graded harshly in any class (from what i hear). She gives massive amounts of suggestions on the graded papers and if you follow these you should do great in class. There is little work in between papers like one group presentation and other small worksheets. She takes attendance. |
| jessgord Course: ENGL101 Grade Expected: A- November 14, 2008, 8:39 pm | She's a really nice person and a good teacher. She has a sort of heavy accent and talks quietly so you have to strain to hear her, but you should be in a small enough room that it's not too bad. She assigned readings from all the required texts and went over them in class...make sure you incorporate everything you go over into your essays. Her expectations for assignments are clear and it's not hard to please her as long as you're doing the work and demonstrating that you're taking what you learn into consideration. I was surprised that this class was actually helpful in teaching me some extra writing/rhetoric skills. |
