Intermediate Hebrew as a course is the first point at which Hebrew begins to fell like a language. That is to say, this is the first time that one is fully able to converse in Hebrew fully and properly. The course, and Nili's teaching style are as follows:
ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED! Unless you want an angry Israeli woman on your mind, GO TO CLASS!!! At the beginning of every chapter, Nili requires the students to define all the vocabulary words in Hebrew. This not only teaches students new vocabulary that one needs to look up in order to define it, but gives a personal definition that makes the word stand out in one's mind.
Next, she gives out a lot of handouts that describe and allow the student to practice the material just learned, and then she assigns homework that reinforces that knowledge.
Nili does give many quizzes throughout the semester. She usually hints to when the pop quizzes will be, but if one does the homework, the quiz questions are verbatim. While this may scare many students, if one is truly intent on learning the language, this is necessary. This ensures that one is always learning and always practicing.
She always announces exactly what will be expected of the student on every test, and subsequently grades very generously. She announces exactly what will be expected of the student on every test, and subsequently grades very generously.
Finally, she assigns an oral presentation. The oral presentation, albeit awkward, is the ultimate test of one's conversational Hebrew skills. It is necessary for one to prepare and present a completely oral presentation of a topic, which challenges and reinforces the students vocab and conversational skills.
All of these remarkable teaching methods come together to combine the ultimate teaching package that is Nili Levy and I would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to learn Hebrew.

I have no idea whats up with the other poster, but:

1. Hebrew classes are generally not hard for 6 credits
2. In Nili's class you get candy.
3. You want to participate-participating makes Nili happy ;-)
4. There is mandatory attendance, you really dont want to skip b.c you will lose points.

Nili is great but don't talk, expect a lot of homework and even more clapping. Get on her good side early.
