It's a miracle that I got an A. The exams are ridiculous, only ten questions, with five multiple choices that are worth 10% of your grade each. I don't know what that kind of testing is trying to achieve, the averages were in the 40s. I went to class maybe four times all semester, not counting coming in for exams. It's really hard to pay attention to him during lecture, so I just read the book. The only good thing is, no Aplia!! But there is homework that you have to turn in during discussions, but you can just drop it off and go home.

The worst professor I had at Maryland. It seemed that he was losing his mind becuase of his age. He stood in front of the board and mumbled to himself for the entire class. The exams tested on the most ridiculous topics that were barely mentioned in the book. TAs were terrible as well as they didn't help much with the explanation of the content during the friday discussions. I didn't learn anything from this class. STAY AWAY!

Not a great teacher. You will not want to go to class. He usually wasted about 20 minutes every class messing with powerpoint, criticizing the ta's, or both. Homework was turned in by hand and was easy. The first tests were easy if you understood the material. The final was insane, the average was a 50. Big curve at the end though.
