Average Rating:| Anonymous Course: EDCP108C Grade Expected: B March 5, 2009, 1:58 pm | So I'm sure think this is an easy class, right? Well, it is. But somehow, Kandell really wants it not to be. I don't know why, but he pretty much actively wants to make it difficult for you. He assigns loads of homework, including filling out 2 questionnaires with like 200-300 questions each and writing papers and such. He also deducts around 1.5 percent of your final grade for each absence, around 1 percent for each tardy and - get this - 7% if he catches you with a cellphone ONCE! (Basically it's 4 times better to not come to class at all than use your cellphone once, according to his idiotic logic) This is a 2 hour class we are talking about. Imagine this - I was in class and had just completed an assignment. He told the class to "take a break" - people started talking, resting their heads, or going outside. I, along with several others, started to text. I was especially concerned cause my girlfriend was having issues and so on. He came up to me and informed he i had just lost 7% of the final grade. Excuse me, for what? For texting silently during a "break"? I don't know if it's some sort of powertrip he's on where he wants people to suffer through his joke of a class. If it weren't for the fact that the actual content is ridiculously easy, people would probably have bad grades. Im sure I'll get a B even with nearly a letter grade taken off for texting during a "break", but I sure as hell hope never to see that guy again. |
