Average Rating:| Anonymous Course: Grade Expected: B September 24, 2010, 9:53 pm | Dr. Jacobsen is a nice professor. She humbles to be a great professor. She loves teaching. She understands students but she allows her TA Laura to grade most of the assignments and reports until later in the semester. Laura is not a good TA because she thinks that students don't deserve the points. She marks off for simply the order of the answers although they were right. If you approach her, she will be ticked off. Almost all of the class complained about Laura's grading techniques and attitude, possibly to the dean. |
| Anonymous Course: BSCI223 Grade Expected: December 18, 2009, 9:37 pm | OMG! Jacobsen could not teach at all. Sure it was her first semester so we decided to stick with her and at the end she screwed us over, she allowed her TA's to give us grades because she couldn't decide herself. Her TA Laura is terrible! she shouldn't be allowed to teach period because she didn't even have the basic knowledge of genetic when a student asked her in lab. Try to take another professor if you can. Do your grade a favor!! |
