Average Rating:| terp999 Course: SOCY100 Grade Expected: A July 5, 2011, 6:23 pm | I would definitely recommend Ms. Hong to anyone who takes socy100. She is so approachable, so nice, and a great teacher. She makes class entertaining by showing you videos and documentaries and promoting in-class discussions. She posts powerpoints online, but you'll have to study from your in-class notes, so definitely try not to miss class. A lot of times she leaves things out of powerpoints on purpose to force you to be in class or get notes from someone. There are articles you have to read and quizzes that follow, but they're not too bad at all. Her tests are straight from your notes, and there is a take-home essay that is incredibly easy if you've paid attention in class. Take socy100 with Hong - I was just taking this as a core class and it was one of my favorites. |

She is young and enthusiastic. She makes SOCY100 interetsing and shows lots of interesting youtube clips and movies. She also has a lot of really interesting stories. THere is not too much work. She gives quizes on reading, so make sure you read book/ articles. SHe is a really great teacher. |
