Class is extremely boring, not really worth it, but there is in class quizzes. He is extremely difficult to understand... I would not take him again. |
| Anonymous Course: ENCE215 Grade Expected: May 5, 2011, 2:37 pm | I would have given him a 0 if possible. Hands down one of the worst professors I've ever had. Not only are his lectures so boring, he sits there and reads off the lectures he posts on the internet, but his accent is very hard to understand and he is incredibly rude to students. If you don't have an A in his class he will not help you with anything. Terrible terrible teacher. I am taking ENCE310 next semester and I made sure it wasn't with him. |
| freeman1 Course: ENCE215 Grade Expected: A December 18, 2009, 2:35 pm | Not the best at teaching. He gives partial credit on grading sometimes. Study the study guide for quizzes and the quizzes and study guides for the exam. Don't worry about his lectures. You really don't even need to pay attention if you can figure out what is going on in his notes. Do well on the exam, it counts for a large portion of your grade. If you keep your grade in the top five you don't have to take the final and get an A. Talks under his breath, sometimes hard to hear. Knows his stuff, not a teacher. Very funny though. Talks about your girlfriend a lot. |
| Anonymous Course: ENCE215 Grade Expected: A December 7, 2009, 10:40 pm | Hao is a good guy. Very nice and somewhat funny. That being said... this class is ridiculous. The ENCE department could really do away this this class. It just consists of memorizing stuff and spitting it back out on exam day. I literally learned nothing in ENCE215 and saw it as a complete waste of time. Conclusion: Hao = good ENCE215 = bad |
| Anonymous Course: ENCE215 Grade Expected: December 4, 2009, 4:34 pm | I could not understand anything he said at all with his thick accent. This made the class really boring. However, exams/quizzes are relatively easier. You won't learn a thing though. |
| Anonymous Course: ENCE215 Grade Expected: c December 3, 2009, 11:28 pm | Absolutely horrible class. Teacher was nice and helpful for it. NO ONE UNDERSTOOD A WORD OF WHAT HE SAID. Nonetheless study guides were helpful and he was quite nice as a person. Take him for ence215 if you have to take that class otherwise avoid at all costs. |

Or if you do, study the OPPOSITE of what he tells you is going to be on the midterms and finals.. his class is impossible to understand, and his notes/problems make no sense. and his class is 8:00 in the morning. Hao + 8:00. could there be a worst combination? |
| jmartin1 Course: ENCE215 Grade Expected: December 10, 2008, 11:25 pm | he is very hard to understand, and sometimes goes through his notes really fast, but the one thing he does do is put up study guides for the quizzes on blackboard. those are fairly helpful. also, the fact that he at least goes over notes is ok. |
