Foust is not a horrible professor as one of these reviews suggested...Sure he is a little dull and I did have to drink a monster once or twice to stay awake during class, but overall I did learn a lot, and it isn't difficult material to learn at all...The workload is EASY, as there are only 3 exams (non-cumulative final)...He does give out a study guide before each exam, and the exam follows the same EXACT ORDER of the study guide...Only reason I am receiving a B+ is because scan tron exam's can be tricky as in if you miss 5-6 questions on a 60 question test, you already have a B...But overall, this class is NOT that challenging and doesn't require that much time outside of class...also, class is suppose to go from 6pm to 8pm, but we rarely ever stayed beyond 7:15...Foust is a good guy and knows his stuff, you won't be disappointed

Best professor ever. Class is an easy A, if you get a B you shouldn't be in college. He actually cares about what his students think, so it was upsetting to see only 40 students show up to class each week. The exams are more than easy because he gives a review sheet with info that each question will be on, and he gave extra credit for the final. He plays movies a lot because it's a long class, and that makes the class even better.

He is miserable. Sure he gives out a study guide with the exact topics for every question, but he is incredible boring and dull. He essentially copies the textbook onto the powerpoint. Out of the 150 student enrolled about only 40 showed up every Tuesday night. The only reason I went was to see the movies/videos he would show since he does use them for exam questions. 3 Tests - 30% for Test 1 &2 and 40% for the FInal, non-culmilative. Test 1 was about 100 questions while the Final was about 45, which is a dramatic change. Don't take him, you will regret it!

The material itself isn't hard. He gives study guides that really help studying for the exams, which your grade is solely based off of. The class is really long and he is not the most interesting lecturer but he is a nice guy.

This class is an easy A. The professor knows his stuff, he used to work in law enforcement and still works in a non-official capacity. The class is supposed to be close to 3 hours but he always let us out early up to an hour. He goes through only what you need to know so theres no studying blind. He gies you a study guide with a topic which he then turns into a question on the exam. Very straight-forward. You don't even need to get the book. The only bad thing is that he goes through slides really fast so you're going to have to keep up with getting all the notes. Other than that, great class, we watch awesome videos and you never know when he's showing them and since there are always at least 5 or more questions about them on the exam and he doesn't give any hint about them, going to lecture is the smartest thing to do and it's not a hardship anyways.

Foust is a beast, his policing class is really interesting. He basically gives you study guides with the questions he will directly ask out of the textbook on exams. So if you mess this up, you probably should think about dropping out of school and working at McDonalds.
