He's definitely a fair grader and helps a lot as far as giving critiques. He doesn't sugar-coat anything, but his honesty helps your work improve. Your grade is definitely dependent upon the amount of work you put into it. I would recommend him. |

He is very open and honest with you about your work whether in a good or bad way. I feel that he is very fair in the way he teaches and the way he grades. But for any drawing class you take with him, don't be expecting to get an A unless you really deserve it. He will always give you the grade you deserve. |

However, the real effort is on your own behalf in this class; he's just the critic. personally i feel like i didn't learn much about "drawing" itself, but rather more about the composition and what makes a good drawing. |
