Pablo is awesome! He is the man, really. For so many reasons. He's a young guy, pretty chill, and he's from Argentina. He has a pretty thick accent, but you really can understand everything he says as long as you're paying attention. This doesn't seem like a class you'd enjoy because it's basically just a math class, but I honestly enjoyed this class and what I learned from it. In my opinion, he explains the material very well. I never went to him outside of class, but I would suggest it because he's definitely very helpful and he's a really nice and friendly guy. Haha he actually came in late to the 8 AM final because he was throwing a party the night before.

He just gives 2 midterms and a final, which I like, but if you're not a good test taker, it might be tough. The first exam had a bunch of multiple choice and then a long problem that you had to work out. The second exam and the final were all multiple choice, but they still contained those long problems, you just had the multiple choice answers to go along with them. He gives problem sets but they aren't graded, they're just for practice and after he's done teaching the material he spends the next few classes before a test going over the problem sets which is really helpful. I would 100% recommend taking this class with Pablo!

Pablo is a really nice guy, and probably would be fun to hang out with! But his lectures are sort of hard to follow, considering he has a harsh accent. And the problem sets he gives you to help you study for exams are kinda hard because your not exactly sure of the answer he is going for. You better have some good understanding of calc and a good idea of an economists' point of view.

Probably one of the better teachers I've had in any econ class. He is a grad student, so he knows how to teach the material in a straightforward way. Is very approachable outside class, and genuinely wants you to succeed. I'm a student who has never gotten an A in a math class until I took this one. I'd highly recommend you take Econ300 with him.
