Average Rating:| Anonymous Course: ENGL101 Grade Expected: A December 20, 2011, 11:01 pm | Professor Cunningham was without a doubt the sweetest and most sincere professor I have had. She cares so much about her students, and even made waking up for a 9 AM class enjoyable. She chooses to make her ENGL101 classes have a different structure than the others, so while all of my friends were complaining about their boring research paper topics, I got to participate in an "outsider experience" in which I had to put myself in a foreign situation and then write about it. The class consists of 3 major papers: 1. Outsider experience 2. Trace a product's advertising and show how that reflects a part of American history 3. Watch a documentary and analyze its rhetoric strategies You'll also have nightly readings and reflections, and maybe one class presentation. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really going to miss ENGL101 next semester. The only thing I won't miss is the large amount of work that this class required, but no matter what ENGL101 class you're in you'll have a lot of busywork. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH PROFESSOR CUNNINGHAM, she's the best!!!! |

| Pugluvr291 Course: ENGL101 Grade Expected: A April 30, 2010, 1:34 pm | She is the BEST English 101 teacher there is. EVERYONE i know HATES English101, but I promise you that you will LOVEEEEE it if you take it with Professor Cunningham! She is so kind and cares about all of her students. She is very helpful and clearly wants ALL of her students to do well. You have to put effort into the class, but that will hold true regardless of who you take English with! Her class break down is as follows: Essay 1 = 15% Essay 2 = 30% Essay 3 = 30% Homework = 10% Classwork/Participation =10% Rhetorical Analysis (Group Project) 5% She is by far one of the best this campus has to offer. She critiques your essay before you have to turn it in for a grade so you always know how to fix it prior to submitting it. I can't say it enough: TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! |
| Anonymous Course: ENGL101 Grade Expected: A December 16, 2008, 12:23 pm | Cunningham is extremly nice and likeable, holds fun classes and never gets mad. You have assignments due every class, but they are small 20 minute assingments. Like with every ENGL101 course you'll have four essays, and your papers really have to be very good to earn an A. However Cunningham is very approachable and will meet with you and discuss your papers at anytime. If you put in the effort you can definetly get an A. Highly recommend |
