There are 5 quizzes or so throughout the semester to go with two 2 page papers, and one 4-5 page paper. No midterm, but there is a final. Overall, most of the classes were interesting, but sometimes they could be fairly boring. |
| Anonymous Course: ENGL245 Grade Expected: C+ December 25, 2008, 11:47 am | Do not take this class, it ruined my gpa. Corbin gives reading quizzes each class, the midterm/final were both unclear and difficult, and a 10 page term paper is due the week of finals. Most of the films seen in class are random, unknown, unrelated, and unsuitable for a class titled Film and the Narrative Tradition (see Ceddo). This class is not for anyone looking for a basic intro to film class. |
| Anonymous Course: ENGL245 Grade Expected: A December 15, 2008, 10:32 am | She is very nice and sometimes the classes are intersting. She really cares about her students and is passionate about what she is teaching. Some days, the lecutres can go on too long, but overall, it was a good class. But, this class takes alot more time and effort than I was expecting. |
