ENEE704: Physics and Simulation of Semiconductor Devices

Recommended: ENEE 600; ENEE 601 and exposure to quantum mechanics. Credit will be granted for only one of the following: ENEE 694 and ENEE 704. Formerly ENEE694. The physics of electron transport in semiconductor devices will be covered. Numerical methods for attaining solutions to transport equations will be explored. Students will also learn how to use CAD tools fro semiconductor device design. Nano-electronic devices will be introduced. | |
