Prerequisite: ENCE320 or equivalent; and permission of department. For ENCE majors, PM minors, or permission of department. Students will learn the basics of project scheduling. Several methods will be covered including bar charts, network-based and linear scheduling. Emphasis will be placed on Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling which is a network based methodology. Students will learn to use scheduling software and will develop a CPM schedule for an actual construction project as part of the semester project. Students will also learn the fundamental contractual aspects related to project schedules. Restricted to students in the College of Engineering.
